With over 18 years in the oil and gas industry, Darrel offers field tested experience you can rely on. Integral to that is the sustainable client relationships he formed over the years through open communication and delivering quality deliverables. His experience includes:

Senior piping design and drafting,

Design lead at fabrication facilities,

Design and drafting office lead,

Full facility as-building (conventional and thermal),

Project management,

Business line management.

 

Darrel manages a team of professionals to deliver quality from project initiation through completion. Here’s a sampling of the roles and scope of the projects he’s worked on:

As Manager of Asset Services business line, he managed Field Verification Services and Document Management groups. This role involved business development, management, technical execution strategizing, mentorship
and training. Developed systems, standards
and procedures that were adopted by
Owner/Operator clients. Developed client relationships and delivered quality deliverables that resulted in becoming the preferred field verification vendor for a number of clients.
For one such client program his group executed over 88 field verification projects in one year, representing over 18,000 manhours, to support hazard and operability analyses (HAZOP) programs.

As Manager of Quality Management, he was tasked with implementing ISO 9001:2008 requirements for a quality management system within an oil and gas business center. Its aim was to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system and procedures, including processes for continual improvement and the assurance of conformity
to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. Designed and implemented continual improvement tools
using SharePoint to effectively manage
non-conformances, opportunities for improvement, lessons learned and defined procedures. Successfully passed 3rd party
audit and received certification.

As Project Manager, he was responsible for managing field verification projects ranging in size to upwards of $6 million.

As Manager of Health, Safety & Environment, he was tasked with implementing an HSE program that would easily be adopted and implemented by all employees and align with industry standards. Successfully received Certificate of Recognition for his previous employer.
